One tip would be to avoid putting the wire where it would have to bend back and forth a lot, like knees & elbows. You may already know this, but EL wire is a central wire coated with phosphorous, with two little hair-thin wires which spiral around that. Those little hairthin wires can be easily broken from being bent back and forth too much, like they would on knees and elbows.
Also, whichever driver is strong enough to light the amount of feet you are using- go up to the next more powerful driver, so your wire will be brighter.
